california blt

I baked the bacon in the oven to get the perfect crispiness .
I like my bacon overly cooked , to the point where it will break
easily .

the essentials - tomato & lettuce
but for the california blt I include avocado .

I grilled saloio bread slices with black truffle oil 
just as I did on the panini - I love the hint of truffle flavor .

joey made his spicy aioli sauce for the blt - basically mayonnaise , sriracha , 
&  sprinkle of pickle juice .



so unbelievably good , a fresh take on 
a classic sandwich !
